What this notice covers

This notice covers the current informational pages and initial enquiries. These pages have no contact forms, user accounts, shop, payments, newsletter subscriptions or embedded social content. The Instagram and Google Maps links take you to external services with their own rules. This notice does not replace the information applicable to patient records and clinical care, which must be explained separately in the consultation context.

Data, purposes and legal bases

Loading pages, images and fonts may involve processing your IP address, browser and device information, pages visited and technical connection data. You may provide your name, contact details and enquiry by email or telephone. Please avoid sending medical documents that are unnecessary for an initial enquiry.

  • Website delivery and security: our legitimate interest in maintaining operation, preventing abuse and resolving errors — GDPR Article 6(1)(f).
  • Administrative handling of an appointment request: steps at your request before entering a contract — Article 6(1)(b). Other correspondence: our legitimate interest in responding to messages.
  • Optional analytics cookies: consent — Article 6(1)(a). Adding new integrations requires this notice to be updated.

Contacting us is voluntary; without the necessary details, we may be unable to answer or arrange an appointment, but you can still browse. We do not use this website to make solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.

Providers and international transfers

Access is limited to authorised people and necessary hosting, IT and communications providers; authorities may receive data where legally required. Squarespace Ireland Limited provides the platform and uses subprocessors. Squarespace may act as an independent controller for certain technical purposes of its own, as explained in its privacy policy. Transfers outside the EEA, including to the United States, may take place under applicable mechanisms such as the Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses described in the Squarespace agreement. You can request a copy or information about safeguards using our contact details.

How long data is kept

Correspondence is retained until the enquiry and agreed follow-up are completed; afterwards, only for a documented legal obligation or legal claim, until that obligation expires or the claim is resolved. Data needed for a subsequent clinical or contractual relationship enters a separate record with its own notice. We review retention when enquiries close. Technical retention follows the provider’s rules, depending on service operation, investigation of errors and incidents, security and abuse prevention; further details may be requested. Cookie durations appear below.

Cookies and your choices

Squarespace documents the following relevant cookies; this is not yet an inventory observed on this website:

  • Necessary: Crumb — session, protection against forged requests; ss_performancecookiesAllowed and ss_marketingcookiesAllowed — 30 days, remembering preferences.
  • Optional analytics, to identify visits and link sessions, only after acceptance: ss_cid, ss_cpvisit, ss_cvr — 2 years; ss_cvisit, ss_cvt — 30 minutes.

The website settings provide acceptance, refusal and preference management. The option to restrict nonessential cookies is enabled, and Activity Log is disabled. You can browse after declining. Use the cookie management control to change preferences; withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Your browser also lets you delete cookies. Disabling analytics does not eliminate technical processing necessary to host the website.
